I want to use a Google Contact list with em client.
Add the contacts via a CardDev type account.
I have various email clients that get used for different things but they all share the same contact list. ( Google Contacts )

If you want to combine other non Google CardDAV contacts into your Gmail Contacts, then you would normally “export those to vCard or CSV file” and then in eM Client go to “Menu / File / Import” and select the type of file. Then on the next screen “choose your Google account contacts” to import / combine them into.
Note: If you do import a .CSV file into eM Client part way through the import wizard you need to select the heading along the top like First Name, Surname etc so they then match your existing contact headings in eM Client when finished.
Otherwise if you want to just manually add your existing Google Contacts online into eM Client, then go to “Menu / Accounts” and click “Add account” and click “Contacts” and select your Google Contacts as per the example screenshot extract from the eM Client support webpage and follow the wizard to add them in.
Or alternatively just add your Google Gmail account via the “automatic account wizard” at the top of accounts and at the end, make sure to select Google Contacts when you allow eM Client access to your Google account. Normally Google contacts are automatically selected by default.
