leaving mail on server

1: Hi, I’m new to EmClient and IMAP…
2: I use Gmail…

Before eM-Client I used Thunderbird with Gmail and had it setup as a pop account.

I would like to use eM client as POP with Gmail because I don’t like that any emails I want to keep on Email client can’t be kept on Emclient without having to leave them on the Gmail server.

I don’t feel comfortable leaving banking info etc. on Gmail so I can keep them on Emclient also.
As you know, if I delete them from Gmail they also get deleted in EmClient.

My question is: Can I just change to POP settings in Gmail or do I also have to make changes in Emclient?
I don’t want to lose what I now have on EmClient if possible.

I really like this program, it works just great.

You can save those important emails to a “Local Folder” which will delete them from your online IMAP account.
