Leaving job - taking mails

I’m leaving soon my job and I would like to take my emails with me to consult them when my current work email is actually eliminated and inaccessible. How should it work? Through back-up? Exporting? And then, in my personal computer, how to introduce them back into my EM Client taking into account that the email account will be eliminated?

if you have all your emails saved to your local folders, you can just use the backup and then restore from it at home - if you have em Client set up at home as well though, this would overwrite your own database.
I suggest using the File>Export function instead and exporting your emails as EML files. You should be able to import these at home through the File>Import function again by choosing the whole folder with your EML files.
