Known issues with versions 2.5.6495, 2.5.6495 and 2.5.6501

eM Client was set as the default program before an update, but after updating to version 2.5.XXXX it no longer works

When I click on my eM Client shortcut, nothing happens
When I click on my eM Client shortcut, it couldn’t find the program

Due to change in the file names, shortcuts that were created with previous versions will not work. You need to recreate them, eg. by dragging the icon from start menu.

When the application is started, it says
"The database present on this computer was created by a newer version of this application."

Alternatively you can fix the issue by deleting the “eM Client.exe” file from “C:\Program Files\eM Client” directory (or “C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client” on 64-bit systems).

The application crashes during IMAP downloading or copying with the following error: "System.InvalidOperationException: Failed to compare two elements in the array. —> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format."

Please download the latest version from http://www.emclient.com/dist/latest/s… and reinstall it over the current version. This turned out to be an issue with certain common IMAP servers and it is fixed in version 2.5.6507.
