Junk Mail folder not receiving

I cannot seem to work out how to get em client to import the spam folder from my email provider into the junk folder of the client. This is important as sometimes mails are erroneously filtered into spam by my provider and I’d like to be able to check them from em client just to make sure no useful mails get in there.

is the problem with the spam folder from your provider not appearing at all or did it just make its own new folder? What is your mail provider? Which version of eM Client are you running?
