Junk E-mail message count doesn't update in emClient 7

The message count for the “Junk E-mail” folder doesn’t update unless I click on the folder in the sidebar menu. In version 6 the message count updated automatically so I could see when junk email came in.
EmClient version 7.0.26687.0
Connecting to Gmail
Windows 10.

Any help appreciated.
