i installed the trial software on 14th Sept and set up my contacts etc and received test emails from emclient & friends yesterday but today, 16h, I can’t receive emails so i closed it & now can’t restart it. I tried to have Windows repair it - to no avail. I am using Windows 8

is/was there any error message shown? Also please try to turn eM Client on when you will and it will not start again run this file http://www.emclient.com/tools/emstack… and then send me log it creates to [email protected] together with this topics’s URL in subject.
