It changed my company emails from IMAP to POP but not my gmail or hotmail accounts

This is very frustrating. I never use POP. I set up several of my emails from work to IMAP from day 1 and on day 4 it has decided to change my work emails to POP but managed to spare me on my gmail and hotmail accounts. There is no mistake about how my emails where set up as IMAP from day 1. 

Can anyone explain this to me what just happened and how to fix and avoid this in the future?
I have the free 30 day trial and plan to go Pro if it showed me that it was worth the $50 upgrade but doesn’t seem promising…

Do you sync calendars and contacts?
