Issue with one email address

It doesn’t matter how many times I mark an incoming email as ‘move to inbox and remove blacklisted email’, the same address (only one) continues to get dumped into my junk file.

If an email keeps automatically moving to your junkmail folder from your Inbox and “there is no rules or blacklist setup in eM Client to move it to the junkmail folder”, then that means your Mail server is automatically moving it to the junkmail folder which in-turn will mirror that in eM Client.

So go online to your mailbox Junkmail / Spam folder and “mark that senders email as Not Junk or Not Spam” and that will then move it back to your Inbox Online and will then keep that senders email in your Inbox for future.

Thank you, cyberzork. I have checked that numerous times and, to be sure, I’ve just checked it again. This address comes into my inbox on my ISP’s platform, no problem. But eMClient WILL NOT follow my instructions and allow the address as not junk.

You don’t need to setup a rule to keep the senders email in your Inbox within eM Client (if they are already staying in your online Inbox). You would normally only setup a rule “to move a senders email from the Inbox” to the Junk folder or any other folder “if you don’t want them in your Inbox”.

So if the email is moving after it’s arriving in your Inbox (only when you open eM Client), then you still have some rule setup to move it in eM Client.

So for a test “disable all rules” in eM Client “including your blacklist” and then close and reopen eM Client and see if it then stays in your Inbox. Only way to see if a rule is doing it.

Now if that senders email then still automatically moves to your eM Client Junkmail / Spam folder “with all the rules and blacklist disabled”, then you know the mail server is moving it automatically and needs to have the Not Junk / Not Spam applied to that sender as I mentioned previously.

Thank you again, but now I have two addresses going into my junk that have previously been received into my inbox with no issue. My ISP is Optus and both of these addresses are appearing in the Optus Webmail inbox, NOT the spam/junk folder. I have removed all rules in EMClient but, for some reason, it will still just randomly send one of these addresses into junk.
