Is there a way to print emails with the images where they are originally in the email, without the client separating them, and displaying them as attachments? The client seems to organize images within the email as attachments, which were never made as attachments. (i.e. a qr code in a boarding pass, which needs to be part of the whole message, but is then omitted from the printed page) Although the email, when you read it and don’t print it, is shown as it was made, with the image as part of the message.
Hi Chris, there’s a difference between receiving images as attachments or as being a part of the message, e.g. being inserted as inline images. The difference in eM Client is displaying the attached images below the message content, where a thin line is displayed to show the images separate from the above message.
If the message was included as an inline image, you should be able to print out the image with the images, attached images have to be printed separately.
Thank you Paul,
The above difference is clear. eM Client works very well when there are attachments, or images within the message, but when an attachment is inlaid, so to speak, in the message, and also an attachment, em client takes it out of the message. Is there any solution for this? Or some sort of controls for how the client determines whether something is an attachment or not so that it doesn’t remove it from a message where it was necessary?
Hi Chris, unfortunately there’s no such setting, as I suggested, either the image is added as an attachment or as an inline image, if it’s an inline image it will be shown inbetween the message content and not separately as attachments. If the image was added as both attachment and inline image you should be able to see the image twice.
