In my previous mail client i could hit select move to folder shortcut, and the list that would open would show all the forders available for the mail account I was in, then I’d type the first few characters of a folder and then hit enter, easy enough. I have several accounts, all with a folder in called “Receipts” and so as I go through my emails it was a simple few taps to move any receipt email to the relevant folder for that account, in fact I have a macro to do it using keyboard maestro so it happed in one keypress. It didn’t matter what account I was in the key strokes would always be the same. But eMC always seems to offer a list of every account, and all the folders for each of them. Fine if I’m in my all mail inbox, but not helpful when I’m operating in a single mail account. Is there a way to have commands like move to folder to be account aware so they only show the folders for the relevant account? I’m just trying to work out the new workflow since switching and I need to still be able to use my macros as they make email triage so much faster. Obviosly I’ll edit the macros to eMC workflow, but account aware folder suggestions is kind of important I think.
Happy to be suggested an alternative approach if there is a better way in eMC. If it makes a difference all my accounts are gmail workspaces. Thank you
