Can you please try clicking your account in the Mail section and choose Properties>Repair and run Repair on your account?

I too have this issue - and see it reported regularly in this forum, and in each case, it seems that the EM team fail to get to the bottom of this. Surely it is because all these people are querying their email account from multiple devices, and therefore this sequence number is being altered between being accessed by different devices. Other email clients don’t have (or don’t report) this problem - they simply get on with pulling the information from gmail and don’t worry about the error. Perhaps emclient is being to rigourous reporting an error that doesn’t seem to matter if you are just about to pull the unread emails?
