Install issues

Install does not ask for location and automatically chooses C drive.

Transfer of account information from Outlook 2010 imports but ignores SMTP login info and uses IMAP login info as default for both SMTP and IMAP.

eM Client does not ask for install location, to prevent any issues it is automatically installed to C:\ drive, you can change database location after installation in settings.

I do not have enough space on C: drive. “Advanced” installation features would be very appreciated! 

Hello you can workaround the install location using this command line:

msiexec /i setup.msi MAILCLIENTINSTALLLOCATION=<path></path>

exchange ‘setup.msi’ for your installer location or navigate to the folder where your installer has been saved and run the command from this folder, exchange ‘’ for your installation location.
