Incomplete Installation

I just tried to install em clieint, have no icon, will not open, can not send or receive?? Help!
Did not ever see the page to insert my installation code. Version 8.0.3385.

Just like yesterday, still did not install correctly, have no opening ICON, in my download directory I have an Item: emclient V8.0.3385.msi but I still have no desktop icon, if I rightclick the item in DownLoads, flag comes up asking if I want to Install, repair, or Un-install, click either install or repair it works like it is really doing something then nothing is done. Help!

Where di you get the file you installed?

Have you tried uninstalling and grabbing a fresh copy and installing again?

No less than 6 times.

This is a new HP desk top. My old desktop installed and found contacts , was ready for operations in less than 5 minutes. Not this time…

That is not the latest version; go here;

https://www.emclient.com/dist/latest/setup.msi

Re-install should update and repair to give you version: 8.0.3385 (83a873c).
If not uninstall , reboot and install.

Windows 10, Correct, no desktop Icon.

Thank you both for any assistance that might work, should I uninstall all other installations first?

The three that I just tried all in a row a few minutes ago that are sitting there doing nothing…

Get rid of all of them and any other eMC files, etc… reboot, go here https://www.emclient.com/release-history, click the latest version at the top of the list, and see where this takes you.

‘Exactly’ what version of Windows 10 is installed?
