Incoming emails are delayed by up to several hours

My incoming emails only seem to come through in ‘batches’ about 5 or 6 times a day meaning there are long delays between the email being sent and me receiving it - is there any solution to this problem?


Yes, there is.

If you are using IMAP then look at your webmail settings as eM Client works well with IMAP for most email services.
This might be set by server to prevent often synchronization (Google will not allow more often then 10 minutes apart) and some servers might be even more strict.

If you are using POP3 then go to Tools - Settings - General - General and synchronization section where you can set lower time.
