I’m a first time user and having trouble importing my hotmail contacts. All the answers that i have found on the internet don’t seem to help me, and the images have a different interface to the one that I am using.
Can someone out there help me??
Hi, not sure what images you have on mind. To synchronize your contacts you only have to setup your account using the automatic setup, all your calendars, mails and contacts should be automatically synchronized.
Thanks they didn’t sync automatically but I imported them as CSV files and now they are there!
I have another problem though, after the installation and setting up of my hotmail account I could send and receive emails. However now i cannot and continue to receive this error message attached; I haven’t changed anything…
When does this error occur? Can you send and receive email if you ignore this error?

Are you using any firewall/proxy/antivirus with mail protection software on your computer? What version of eM client are you currently using?
The version is 6.0.20498.0
i disabled antivirus and firewall to check if that was the problem but i received the same error message.
Ok, can you please go to Tools > Settings > Advanced and turn on AirSync logging for the problematic account?
- Save the settings
- restart the application
- replicate the issue
- send/receive email
If the error occur and your email is not sent, can you go back to the advanced settings window and click on “Send logs” and send the logs to email@example.com with a reference link to this forum topic?
