IMAP connection failure. Can't connect to any email

I installed a trial version of em Client and can’t seem to get it working propely.

I’ve set up all my accounts, and I can see the titles of my emails, but I can’t open them, and I get an error stating:

“[IMAP] An attempt to connect to [email] failed. The could b caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you wantto check the settings?”

I have done snooping around and saw recommendations to set port to 993 and security policy to SSL/TLS legacy. Tried it, didn’t work. Double checked credentials, even resigned in to the accounts, can’t seem to get them to work.

I have tried messing around in settings, shutting down my anti-virus (Kasperksy), disabling VPN (NordVPN).

Now as I’m writing this, I don’t recall the sign-in process ever asking me the 2FA token, could that be the issue?
