Icons for reply/forward not showing in new version 7

Hi,
the new version looks good, and much faster.
But I’m missing something we had in previous versions.
Next to the message, there were some icons indicating if this message was already replied, forwarded, etc…
But now these icons are not showing up.
Is it just me? or will be fixed in further updates?

I reply to myself… :slight_smile:
This was because it’s in conversations mode like Gmail.

So disabling this, will appear the icons as always

Maybe I don’t understand. I, too, am missing the “already replied” or “forwarded” indicator next to an email header on the main mail screen. And I have conversations set to disabled (in Mail:Read section of settings).

It still would be cool if the icons appeared, even in Conversation mode.  They did appear in Windows Live Mail, even in Conversation mode.

Since the conversation mode groups messages together in the message list, the indicators would be meaningless. To which message would the indicator apply? A compromise would be to set the menu/tools/settings/mail/read conversations check box to “Show conversations in message detail only”. This will show individual items in the message list and display the indicator, yet maintaining the conversation history in the reading pane.

In Windows Live Mail, if you reply to any email in the conversation, then the reply indicator appears.

It’s just a shame to lose that indicator for all emails (i.e., non-threaded ones) just because you’re in conversation mode.

I stand corrected.  If you reply to a non-threaded email, then the indicator appears with an email count of 2.  That, in effect, serves the same purpose as the reply indicator.

So, I’m fine with how it works now.
