How did you lose them?
Were they in local folders, or were they synced with an online account?
I had GoDaddy regular email acct then upgraded for outlook Office365 with GoDaddy, With the change everything got deleted. I didn’t do anything to it. I started the new email with outlook Office 365 which is the same email but my contact are not their.
You might want to contact GoDaddy support and find out what happened to your contacts. I assume they were stored online.

by any chance, isn’t it the case of hiding the “Contacts” folder in eM Client with the right-click on the Mail/Calendar/Tasks/Contacts… buttons?
