I keep emails on server, how can I prevent eM Client from downloading old mails?

Hi, I’m a new user so apologies in advance if this is a dumb question… I keep all old (important) mail on the server and use multiple PCs for email. I’ve set up eM Client on a new machine and imported old email into local folders from Outlook.

My question is; how can I prevent eM Client from seeing the old mail on the server and trying to download it? I don’t have this problem with Outlook (I assume) because all my folders are subfolders of the main inbox.

Would be most grateful if somebody could assist.

If you want to store them at server, you will need to remove it to some other folder for old messages (archive).

If not you can set POP3 account in eM Client and in account settings of it (in POP3 tab) play with Server settings section.
