I just installed eM Client yesterday. I can receive mail, but not send it. Any ideas (simple ones please).

The mail stays in the out box but won’t send.

Most likely you should go to Tools > Accounts and check the SMTP settings for your e-mail account.

Maybe you can compare those settings with the same settings as you’ve used in your previous e-mail client (like Outlook or Thunderbird)?

Thanks, I’ll try that. I have been using a web mail account not a client so I’ll try to muddle through.

what email provider are you using? You should be able to find necessary settings for email clients on the webpage of your email provider.
When you started using eM Client did you use automatic setup?

And what version of eM Client are you using?
