Quite frequently I find I am having to repair eM Client to remove messages that no longer exist in my GMail account. When I run the command, it does work, but it says that eM Client was not shut down properly last time. Question: Why does that keep happening? I always close it with the x after reading my e-mails. These are the settings I have under General:
