Both emails are the same; they just use different servers. One is on webmail and the other is on Google Workspace email. Here’s what I did:
1. I set them both up in eM Client. 2. I selected all the emails from the source account, right-clicked, and chose “copy to [Destination email].” 3. The screen is now stuck on “This operation may take a while to complete. Please be patient.” Initially, when I checked Gmail to see if I was receiving emails from the source account, it was working. However, after some time, there was no change in the number of emails in my Gmail account. So, I think it’s stuck.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated, Thank you.
I am confused by what you say:
1./ Initially you say you want to transfer to from Webmail to Google workspace, is the Webmail with Google/Gmail?
2./ You also say that one account is already on Google Workspace.
I suggest the first thing you should do is to read and follow these Google instructions:
The webmail is the linux hosting webmail we get from hosting provider and the destination email address is one from google workspace. I tried using migrate data tool on google workspace but it’s super slow.
Perhaps that is just the way it is; I am not a fan of and do not use anything Google so do not have direct experience.
However, I have read that Google does have Workspace email limits and slows things down when limits are reached, you can search for information on this.
