You don’t say what type of email account it is, but if it is a Microsoft account (e.g., Hotmail, Outlook) they are moving all of their users to Exchange, so you may have to recreate the account as an Exchange account.

have you perhaps updated eM Client and all your files and accounts are missing? You would need to import using the Menu>File>Import>Import from eM Client 6 option.

If your account are present and only your data are missing, more information about your accounts would be useful (gmail/outlook/other type of account? Is it setup using POP/IMAP/Exchange?)
