Isn’t that password for your internet/email provider and not eM Client? For me, it’s an ATT/Yahoo password. eMC never asks me for a password, just the mail server, and that’s ATT.
Access your email acct. the normal way bypassing eMC via their web based email and click “forgot your password?”.
Hi Kenneth, if you had your eM Client password protected by enabling the password protection option under Application settings, it is unfortunately not possible to change the password, as this keeps your data protected from unauthorized access, in such case you’d have to setup a new database by removing the current one from your Roaming folder.
If you’ve forgot your email account password, please contact your mail service’s support to regain access to your account.
