I don't want the email address to show in the "To" line

When I send an e-mail, the person’s e-mail address shows up in the “To:” line.  I don’t want the person’s address to show.  I know there has to be a way to stop this from happening but I can’t seem to find where or how to do it. Please help.  Thank you

What do you want to show up in the To: line? If you are looking at hiding who the email is being sent to, put yourself in the To: line and then add the recipients to the BCC: line so that they are blind carbon copied.
