I created a distribution list, now I can’t find it to edit it. It doesn’t appear in my contacts list. Where is it?

I got the same problem. Selecting names, right clicking for distribution list, gave it name, clicked save, no distribution list to be found

This happened to me several times. Fortunately the last time I found it just after I created it. The problem might be having inadvertently picked a location when the list was created, but not realizing what location was picked. Try finding it this way:

Open the Select Contact list (Control+B) and then cycle through whatever options are available in the dialog’s Contact Folder drop-down menu. The new list might have ended up in some unexpected place.
