Recently signed in from a different country so gmail locked my account. I unlocked it and unlocked it also on emclient but emails I send will often not go through.
Some more info: Every time I open the diagnostics tab on the account settings for both gmail accounts I have hooked up to emclient, it shows a problem with SMTP, which it then claims to fix.
Hi, could you make screenshot of your SMTP tab and post it here? Or write me your port and security policy settings.
Force usage of SSL/TLS
Try to change port 25 or 465 and security to Use SSL/TLS on special port
It didn’t work.
Then I will need your SMTP logs, go to tools - settings - advanced, check SMTP under your account, apply and restart eM Client.
Simulate steps that leads to your issue and after that send logs… to email@example.com together with this topic’s URL in subject.
then you can turn logging off.
