How to store sent Mails in anothers IMAP Account Sent Folder

Hello,

i’m currently trying EM Client and cannot solve this issue.

When Sending an E-Mail from my private E-Mail Account, i want to store the sent E-Mail not in my Accounts SENT Folder. I want to store these sent E-Mails in my GMails SENT Folder.

KI (Gemini) said, this is possible, by defining, that Sent E-Mail must be storen in [GMAIL ACCOUNT]/Sent, but i cannot find this setting in my Demo Account of EM Client.

Does anyone know, if this is possible?

Background is, that i store mails from the last 20 years in my GMAIL and i want every mails that i sent with my private Account also in GMAIL. Currently i use POP3 to import everything to GMail, but i need to switch, when Google stops POP3 Support in the next months.

I’ve contacted the Support about this, but no one answered.

It really depends on whether your email provider creates the sent message itself, or if eM Client does so.

If eM Client is creating the sent message, then after the message is uploaded to your server to send, eM Client copies it to the Sent folder itself. In that case, you can create a Rule to move t to another folder.

So like this:

However, if the server creates the message itself after it has sent it, and places in it’s own Sent folder, the Rule wont work.

Best is to try this Rule and see.
