Compose a new message and click on the attachment icon.
Select a file from your OneDrive directory.
eM Client will ask if you want to link the file or attach it.
If you select to link it, the first time you will have to go through an OAuth process to allow eM Client access to OneDrive.
After that, the file will appear as a link in your new message.
Ok. Got it.
I thought it was now possible to choose directly from Google Drive when its not mapped to your PC.
Like how GMAIL allows you to select from Desktop or Drive or etc.

All it is, is a link pasted into your email.
You can do it directly from the OneDrive app, or whichever cloud storage you are using, by selecting Share. That copies the link to your clipboard, and you can just paste that into your new message.
You could always do it like that even in version 7, but version 8 now detects that if you attach a file from a synced drive on your computer, that a link is also possible and gives you that option to link instead of attach.
Hello Gary, if I may intrude here?
It’s very hard to find the information I need, this page is as closest as I could get.
The thing is that I have mistakenly checked the box Don’t ask me again and clicked to Yes instead of No, and now, every time I want to attach a file from a DB folder, the thing works hard to create the link (which I do not want to include).
In short - where I can disable the automatic linking to DB, please?
Thank you very, very much!
