I am appreciative that eM Client finally added a SEND “whoosh” when Mail is being sent
The sound, however, for my preferences, is too subtle.
I found a sound file (.wav format) that matches the Apple Mail “whoosh” and is more prominent
Where is the folder of sound files located in the file structure so I can add my own?
Thanks again for adding this feature!
The default eM Client Mac sound files are found in the following folder.
/Applications/eM Client.app/Contents/Resources/Sound/
The easiest way to access that is to “click the 3 dots” on the far right in “Menu / Preferences / Mail / Send” as in the example screenshot below.
Or alternatively “Open the Finder / Applications” and then “Right click on eM Client” and click “Show Package Contents”. Then scroll-down to “Resources” and open the “Sound” folder.
Thanks, Cyberzork.
In retrospect, that file path in the settings. should have been obvious to me. I overlooked it.
well … no such settings here
I would suspect that changing the contents of the app file would lead to loosing the developers signature for macOS security.
