How do you import contacts from Windows Live Mail

Would like to try eM Client. I am running Windows 7 Home with Windows Live Mail from Windows Essentials but can’t seem to import my contacts from Windows Live Mail.

Hi,
direct contacts import during Windows Live Mail import it is not possible at the moment. You will need to manually export contacts from Windows Live Mail and then import it to eM Client through menu File-Import. Choose .csv or .vcf file format to do that.

Thanks - it worked - i should have thought of that.
Now I just have to work out how to get rid of the wasted space above the open email.
