How do you change the "Reply To" address?

Most email clients allow you to set a “Reply To” address but I can’t see how to do this with eM Client. I would find this really useful as I have an email address that I give out to people but it is not the same as my gmail address.

I did wonder if it was linked to Email Address Aliases but I don’t think so.

Thanks.

Hi, this is achievable in eM Client only by using “aliases”.

can you specify the procedure step by step? sorry but it’s not immediatly as a field “reply to”

Jan,

Thanks for that but as Salvatore requested, please can you give step by step instructions.

Thanks,
Simon

You can set aliases on your server settings, this depends on what email provider do you use, but usually it is possible and hidden somewhere in their settings.

After that you can just set your alias in Tools - Accounts - your account - General tab, Aliases… (it has to be same email as set on server)

Jan,

Thanks for this. Now I understand this a bit better, I’ve realised I can effectively change the default Reply-To address by changing the Email address in Tools->Accounts->Your Account->General->Email to the required address and putting the account’s real email address under Aliases.

Thanks,
Simon

you are welcome.
