how do i get an email address in email to be a link?

When I type my email address in an email, it does not get formatted as a link. How do I get it to be a link?

When it gets to the recipient it will be

Just tested that by sending it to a different address of my own, and I read it with a different client. It does not show as a link, nor does it act as a link.

The latest update fixes the ‘insert link’ thing.
Remember to change ‘lead’ to mailto:
(2.5.6507.0)
