How can I set up my eM and Gmail so I can delete mail off the GMAIL server but NOT have them automatically delete from my Laptop on sync?

I don’t want the inbox on my laptop to automatically delete the messages I delete from the GMAIL server. How can I set that up? Thanks

Hi,
you need to set the account using POP3 protocol. Simply go to the menu Tools - Accounts - New account - Mail - Other and configure your account to use POP3 protocol.
