Does anyone else have the same problem as me? When the subject is too long, I can’t display the full subject, either on the mailing list or in a separate mail window. I can’t stretch the window to enough width every time…
Have you tried adjusting the Message Preview where you can adjust it from 1,2 or 3 Subject lines via “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Mail / Read” and near the bottom you can adjust that.
Thanks! But this setting is for mail content preview, not the subject.
It does change the subject for me, as I use that to adjust subject lines on the desktop and mobile app. Don’t know why it doesn’t on yours.
Could be then another setting that needs adjusting as well or could be your version of eM Client.
What version do you have ?, and are you use Windows or Mac ?
I’m using the latest version in Win 11 24H2, I don’t think this matter…
By your setting, you might “feel” the setting works, but actually, it’s just displaying different parts like the subject, sender, and email content on separate lines. The subject itself doesn’t actually break. Long subjects will just get truncated with an ellipsis when the window isn’t wide enough. If this happens only in mail list, I think it is acceptable, but when you enter the mail window by double click the mail, the problem still exists. When you resize the window of Gmail’s email content page in your browser, you will find that the email subject can automatically wrap as the size of your window changes.
