I have a microsoft account i use for email (hotmail). I use microsoft’s authentication mobile app as a 2 step verification. After creating a new account on emClient a message pops up asking for username and password. Is there a way I could fix this? ( i did enable POP on my outlook account)
Hello Filip, if you’re using the two step authentication option on your email account, the application is required to use an app specific password, if you’ve enabled this option, please make sure to generate an application specific password using these steps, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/app-passwords-two-step-verification and setup the generated password as your account password in eM Client.
