Hotmail: An error ocurred

Just today, i cant read any or my emails everytime i click on an unread email i get an error message.

[IMAP] Cannot open folder “Hotmail/inbox/”. (Select Command is not permitted in current state (NotAuthenticatedServerError))

Hello Elistone,
the problem seems to be with Authentication to the server. Have you changed your login credentials? Can you login into this mail account through webmail?

I didnt change any login credentials but the problem seems to have fixed itself that day, as it has been working fine since that day. maybe it was a problem on hotmails end?
