I have set up my account and I can receive email but when I try to send email it doesn’t work and it says I have no account
If you go to menu/tools/accounts, and highlight the appropriate account, is there a tab entitled “SMTP?”

Exactly as Jay posted and I would just add that if not, in the Menu > Tools > Accounts > Your account > General > Services, make sure that the checkbox “SMTP” is checked. This will enable your account to send messages.
