Hi folks. I'm using a trial pro version 8 and can't connect

Hi Folks. I agreed to try a trial version of EM Client after using the free version for a few years.
Now it wont sync with gmail and I’m getting no new emails. I’ve tried emailing support - The one email address I have from before, and haven’t had a response.

Does anyone know Why it keeps telling me "connection failed? I haven’t changed any settings.

i don’t have an option to do any diagnostics in this version.
