Hi Em Client fails to start after database check

Add a minor glitch on my Windows 10 which required a ‘hard’ shut down. On restart em client did a database check and looked for inconsistent files. Ticked each operation as done and none found, then closed the message box and refused to start. It repeats this everytime I try to start Em Client… Any body now how I can get it to start properly without a re-install. I have 600 contacts organised into distribution groups and would like to be able to not have to do that work all over again.
