Had a pop up that eM Client had not been able to contact the server for 7 days - I’ve been using it with no problem every day, including today. All email is now gone. There is not even a window for mail, although contacts, calendar and tasks are all still there. I can see old emails if I click on a contact. Can’t send a screenshot, the message is gone. Have a shot of the mail window.
Hi Alan, if the error isn’t shown now, it may have been due to a temporary connection issue, as the application performs the check with the licensing server once in 24hours.
To display the Mail tab in the left pane, right click any of the options shown currently and select Mail to be displayed.
Hope this helps, but please make sure to let us know if the issue persists.
Thank you,
Paul
Hi Paul, Thanks for the reply. PROBLEM SOLVED. I think you are correct about the connection issue. This occurred when I was at a hotel and needed to sign into the internet each day. With eM Client set up to auto run on start up, I believe the client was trying to contact the server but could not because the internet connection had not yet been established. I disabled the auto-run, rebooted and when I started eM after having a connection established everything came back.
Hi again, glad it works, some public networks also have port restrictions which may have disabled the application’s ability to connect to the server, even though other features were not affected.
Let us know if you come across any other issues or questions about the application, we’ll be happy to help.
Thank you,
Paul
