Gtalk file transfer not working... stuck at "Preparing..."

Hi, been searching through your forum archives but have not found any solution for this, can anyone help? 

Have already open port 5223 for gtalk, don’t know what else I can do… thanks…

Hello, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About?
Can you please make a screenshot of the issue you’re experiencing?

Thanks for responding, it’s version 6.0.21372.0 … and this is the screen it’s stuck at…

I’m testing the free version between 2 PCs, need this to work before upgrading to pro because we do a lot of file transfers using IM… thanks…

Unfortunately Gmail / Google Talk doesn’t support file transfers while using chat.

If FB & Gtalk both don’t support… the file transfer is only for XMPP?

XMPP is the protocol that’s used for Chat, this protocol is used both by FaceBook and Google Talk, both of these service providers have decided to shutdown their chat services, GTalk is being deprecated, however still remains working for third party applications running with Google accounts, Facebook chat has been removed from the Application as facebook has decided to shut the service for third party use completely and you can only use their native applications from now on.

You can still submit data through chat using any account using XMPP protocol that supports file transfers.
