GTalk contacts not appearing behind friewall

When I am connected behind my company firewall my Gtalk contacts are not showing up but they do when I am not behind the firewall.

Any suggestions?

Are you getting any error messages? Is the Gtalk account online?

I figured the problem out - our firewall was blocking some traffic on port 5223. Once I opened that up everything was fine.
