I received 6 emails from one sender yesterday. I replied to each email.
Now, two of emails are identified my Inbox. When I open these two emails, I see every email in the conversation. But I don’t see the other four emails in my Inbox.
The problem is that one of the incoming emails had an attachment and now I can’t find it.
I have “Conversations Disabled” selected.
For what it’s worth, the sender is on a GMail account.
Can you tell if the 6 emails from this sender were replies to the same message? Or did the sender start brand new messages. There are unique message IDs that email software use to know if messages are part of the same conversation, that’s how conversations are strung together. If the sender started a brand new email to you, then it has a different message ID and not part of a previous conversation.
eM client has good search function. In the search bar type from: then start typing the sender’s name or email address, Pick the appropriate sender’s email and check the seach results for the email and see if the one with the attachment is there.
I have a similar sounding issue, emails I see in one email client, say gmail, I don’t see in eM client. Somewhere and I haven’t figured it out yet, is my emails are getting tagged and I have a Primary box and Other box, sometimes key messages are in the Other box. So it’s the same inbox for the account, but along the top of the message list, I have these categories. Maybe check if you have categories.
