dont like the grouping of emails in my inbox when upgraded. can i change settings?
Go menu/tools/settings/mail/read and check “Disable conversations”

Also you will see another option (below Conversations) in the same Mail/Read section called “Message List”. I would also recommend to remove the tick “Show messages in groups” as i also found some messages were still showing grouped even with removing Disable conversations.
