Google Contacts 403 error - Your client does not have permission to get URL

Hello, I am trying to set up Google Contact sync, but I keep getting a 403 error. I get, “Your client does not have permission to get URL.”
I have another Google account synchronizing my Google Calendar and it works fine, but adding this Google Contacts account (which is different than my Google Calendar) produces this error.

does your problem persist? Are you able to simulate it from another locations (I mean different IP addresses)?

I have this same problem. I’ve tried it on two different computers on two different networks.

Any suggestions?
