Yes this was also a problem sending an invite from eg: Android to iOS as per this thread below on that subject where pressing the Accept button never updated Google calendar online, and was resolved with the “From Everyone” setting in Google end.

I am experiencing an issue where calendar invites accepted in eM Client (associated with my Google account) appear in eM Client’s calendar but do not sync to Google Calendar.
