[Google Calendar] Synchronizing folder ‘name/Calendar’ failed due to the following error: Unable to cast object of type ‘System.Guid’ to type ‘System.String’.
Only seems to affect one calendar in one account and only on this one machine running emclient.

This error ‘System.Guid’ to type ‘System.String’.sounds like a database type error caused by possibly an eg: older or outdated version of eM Client that might need updating.
What version of eM Client are you using ?

Ok thats an old version and there was alot of fixes since that version.
So if you originally installed eM Client from the eM Client website, go to the release history page and download the latest V10.3.2619 for Windows and install that and see if that fixes that issue.
Before installing make a manual backup via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is completed in Show Operations via the dropdown on the right of Refresh. Also close eM Client before updating.
