"Going offline, this operation may take a while to complete..." - NEED FIX WILL PAY for remote tech support - stack trace attached

Tonight we downloaded messages via POP3 and em client to take them off a failing webserver. During the download there were some error messages causing us to have to restart em client. When we attempted to restart it went through it’s usual corrupted DB checks and then eventually opened the em client interface. When the em client interface opened there was a window saying "cant verify the identity of the mailserver – . And then another window on top saying “Going Offline - this operation may take some time please be patient.” It’s been 4 hours now and no movment. The windows processes for emclient have gone to 0, the mail.dat file is around 1.8gb. I have a stack trace report below. Need immediate assistance, can remote support, we are a free user but will pay for fix.

Were your emails already deleted from the mail server?
If so, do you have a backup file available?
